When you decide to get into affiliate marketing, don’t believe the myth that affiliate marketing is of only one type. There are different affiliate formats that you can choose from if you want to achieve some real success.

In order to make it big with affiliate marketing, you need to experiment with pay per lead, pay per sale and pay per click. They are all similar but differ in small ways.

Small differences like getting paid for having someone fill out a form (pay per lead) or actually sending someone to a merchant where they make a purchase (pay per sale) will take a different approach. Your success with any particular affiliate program will all boil down to your passion or your determination to succeed.

Also, remember that it is very likely that you will have far more success with one business model than you will with another. There are many ways to make money online so it would be wise to choose a direction that allows you to grow as large as you want to. A good suggestion would be to just get started with the basic pay per sale model and when you see profits coming in; you can expand and move towards other forms of affiliate marketing.

Stick to learning the fundamentals very well and you too will be able to earn more than the majority of affiliates in the industry.

UpDate: How to Earn Easy Money Just by Leaving Your Computer On!
