I apologize for the long delay between posts but I’ve been kind of busy building a new website.
It’s coming soon.
In the meantime, there’s a couple of things I’ve found that may be of interest to you.
I found Lynn Terry’s latest ClickNewz! post to be very helpful, informative and well written.
Here, Lynn takes an inside look at the difference between Keyword Research and Market Research. There is a definite difference between the two that many people are not even aware of.
Lynn explains this and more in her latest post.
“I could start out by giving you specific internet marketing strategies, and I’ll share a few of those with you too.
But the key is actually in how you approach the market. It’s not complicated, but it is unique to each market and to each type of niche affiliate site. I’ll share some methods that I use to create a winning marketing plan for any site…”

Mary Kay Miller is an Internet marketing coach specializing in SEO and Web 2.0 Internet marketing solutions. She has created and managed her own Internet business since 2006.
I was impressed with many of the SEO tips, and practices Mary presents on her blog and in her most recent entry: “SEO Blog Posts – Seven Tips to Engage Readers and Search Engines”.
In this post, you can actually see that she is using some of the practices she explains in her extensive SEO teachings.
Notice for example that all the clickable links (I would assume these are also keywords) in this particular blog post, all point to actual informative information from paces like Wikipedia.
This is an excellent optimization strategy that works well for both the search engine spiders and the person reading the post.
Mary expands on this even more in her first SEO tip.
“To start, the first thing to consider when you are writing a blog post is how you are going to please both the search engine spiders as well as your human visitors. It isn’t all about SEO and keywords no matter what you may have heard or read. Google for example is much more interested in you making your articles readable and interesting.
Your click through rate (CTR) is one of the criteria it looks at.
If readers are immediately clicking out of your blog or don’t return because the content is considered boring or unreadable, it will hurt your ranking. Your goal is to create fun and interesting blog posts to please both the search engines and readers.” - Continue reading SEO Blog Posts – Seven Tips to Engage Readers and Search Engines
